Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church

Dear Parishioners,

   While Msgr. Hever is taking a well-deserved vacation, I have been asked to write the "Letter from the Pastor" for the bulletins.

   I want to say thank you so much for the welcome and support I have received over the past four weeks I've been here. Already I have seen what a vibrant community Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church is. I am honored and excited to be a part of it. It is almost unheard of for a parish to have three daily Masses, and especially to see how well each is attended. It is also wonderful to have such an established Perpetual Adoration. What a blessing it is to have the Blessed Sacrament available 24/7 (except during Mass). I hope and pray all of you take advantage of the blessing.

   I know I am going to learn a lot from the Priests here, especially Msgr. Hever. The dedication and sacrifice shown by each of the Priests are so inspiring, I hope and pray I can serve like them. I also look forward to getting to know and learning from you, the parishioners of this wonderful community. I only hope that I can be part of your spiritual growth, as you are of mine. May we make each other Saints, ready for Heaven.
