For the past eighteen years, the OLPH Men's Club has
asked the parishioners of our parish to assist in bringing the Spirit of
Christmas to the poor and elderly of our parish and to parishes less fortunate
than ours. We thank you for being so giving. It has truly made a
difference in the many lives of those who live in the Valley of the "Son".
On the weekend of December 11th and 12th, gifts and
monetary donations were again collected as our parishioners came to Mass.
The pictures below reflect just a few of the gifts collected that weekend.
Thank You to all those who participated and to the Men of OLPH for their
continuing efforts.

Hope's first taste of sharing with children less fortunate than herself - she is the picture of the joy of giving.
This is only a portion of the gifts that were gathered thanks to the generosity of the OLPH Community.
From the church vestibule, the gifts are transported to Maguire Hall to be sorted by age and gender.
Sister Alice Ruane (pictured) is only one of many helping hands that prepare the gifts for pickup by charitable organizations.
Sister Marion Grace, (declined photo) OLPH School Principal, contacts worthy charities and organizes the pickup times.
It's a lot of work, and a true labor of love.
Thank You Men of OLPH and Thank You to the Sisters of OLPH Convent, who spend many hours sorting, and sometimes delivering, to the needy.
