Matching Gifts Programs are programs where businesses will match the contribution an employee makes to a charitable organization or to a school. This is a great way to make your contribution go twice as far – some companies will match 2:1 or even 3:1. Some companies will match gifts of retired employees. Check with your employer or former employer to see if they have a Matching Gift Program and what their stipulations are.
