MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Sanctity of Life Committee is to promote and protect the sacredness

of human life from conception to natural death.

SCOPE

Abortion, euthanasia, capital punishment, stem cell abuse and same-sex marriage

GOALS

Spiritual growth of our members

Informed members and parishioners

Protection for all human life, especially the most vulnerable

Awareness and action against current threats to defenseless lives

Passage and enforcement of laws protecting all human life

Positive influence on non-parishioners

STRATEGY

We will work with our church leaders to put into action the directives of God concerning respect for all human life.

Prayer, holy hours and liturgical exercises

Prayers at abortion clinics

Speakers, videos, and newsletters

Monthly meetings, bulletin inserts and flyer distribution

Respect Life Petitions for the General Intercessions

Participation in legislative processes

Communication and invitations to other parishes and to non-parishioners

Daily and weekly Prayers of the Faithful

Pro-life literature in church vestibules

Periodic tables in church to give out pro-life materials
