Capital Campaign

The Capital Campaign, “Building On Our Future… One Piece at a Time” project began in November 2004 in accordance with the OLPH Master Plan. The purpose of this plan is to make enhancements to our parish and school that will directly benefit OLPH students and our community. Through the generous pledges of current parish and school families we have completed many of our planned items.

Accomplished Items From May 2005 to September 2005:
• Added Classroom Space
• A New School Library
• A New School Office and Administration Center
• Significantly Enhanced School Security

Planned For the 2008/2009 School Year: A New Gymnasium/ Multi-Purpose Hall!
We are very excited about our plans for our new Gymnasium. It will positively impact the lives of our students by providing:

• A Formalized Athletic Area for P.E. and other School Sports/Events
• Flexible Meeting/Classroom Space
• A Stage for School Drama Productions, Music Presentations and Other Events
• A New Meeting Place for Band Practice

Currently, we are meeting with our Architects and all the plans are on schedule for the completion of the Gymnasium for the 2008/2009 school year. Rezoning will take place within the December 2007/January 2008 timeframe. A bid for further space across the street from the school/parish will also occur and rezoning will be worked into this process.

The OLPH Community continuously needs support for these enhancements. Thank you to those of you who have made pledges to this Campaign to improve our school campus. Shading will be provided for our students using the playground equipment for the 2007/2008 school year!
