Mission

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School is dedicated to building up the body of Christ by fostering the spiritual growth of our students in an emotionally safe and academically sound environment. Our school exists to educate students to be self-directed, life-long learners, and faithful disciples of Christ.

History

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School has been serving Scottsdale for fifty years, and was founded by the Sisters of Seton Hill of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Beginning enrollment in 1956 was 87 students. Today we have approximately 480 students.

The elementary school has been a proud part of Our Lady of Perpetual help Parish. From a simple beginning of 87 pupils and three Sisters, the school grew within ten years to over 900 students and 18 teachers. When the Diocese required schools to limit their class size the enrollment was gradually cut back. We now have 480 students, 18 teachers, a counselor, a resource teacher, two computer teachers, two Spanish teachers, a librarian, a nurse, a music teacher, a band instructor, two physical education instructors, an art teacher, an assistant principal and a principal.
