WHAT IS SCRIP?
OLPH Scrip program is a major fundraising source and an easy way for families to support the school. Buying Scrip through OLPH also offers families the opportunity to get a credit toward their tuition based on their Scrip purchases.
THERE IS NO COST TO YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN SCRIP!
Scrip is an easy way to support your school and help pay your tuition. Here’s how it works, you simply buy a card from one of the 200 plus merchants we offer (hotels, restaurants, movies, airlines, mall stores, grocery). This works exactly like a gift card. A $100 purchase to any of our merchants gives you $100 worth of buying power at that store (some can be used on line). There is NO COST to you! OLPH buys these cards at a discount (the discount varies based on merchants), and our profit comes from this discount. This is how OLPH and the families benefit.
TUITION REDUCTION INCENTIVE PROGRAM
OLPH offers a tuition reduction incentive program (T.R.I.P.) through the Scrip program. After the first $150 in profit from your Scrip purchases, OLPH will credit you with 50% of the remaining profits from your family’s purchases. Families receive a credit toward their tuition in May for the following year. To get the most out of the Scrip Program start thinking in terms of using Scrip for all your family’s needs. Bring in family and business orders, or talk to your friends about buying all their movie tickets or grocery store purchases through Scrip. You can bring any order, from anyone, and your family gets credit! Please be aware that buying $150 in Scrip is not the same as earning $150 in profit.

MANY WAYS TO BUY SCRIP
- The Scrip Office is open Tuesday from 7:45 AM – 10:30 AM and Thursday afternoon 2:30-3:15and Fridays from 7:45 AM - 1:15 PM. Please stop by and visit our office!
- You can also download a Scrip Order form from the website, fill it out and send it in through your child’s folder along with your payment. Orders are filled DAILY. A filled order will be sent home with your child in his/ her backpack.
- Orders can also be sent directly to our email address at: scrip@diocesephoenix.org
- Let us know what your monthly Scrip needs are and we will set you up as a recurring order filled monthly.
ARE YOU A FRY’S OR BASHA’S /AJ’S SHOPPER?
• Get started by purchasing a gift card for $10 at the SCRIP table or through an order envelope.
• It is good for a $10 purchase. When you get to the cashier, any dollar amount can be added to your OLPH Fry's/Basha's/Aj's card before your purchases are made. You may reload the card using cash, debit, credit or check as many times as you want.
• Fry's and Basha's/AJ's pays our school 5% every time you reload the card and the profit is tracked back to our school.
• Each family's profit is tracked and all the cards you purchase or sell to family and friends will be credited to your T.R.I.P. account.
• Kroger Corporation owns Fry's, so these cards can be used at any Kroger stores nationally.

ARE YOU A SAFEWAY SHOPPER?
Sign up your Safeway club card. You can also sign up your Credit Card and Debit Cards at www.escrip.com. Each time you use your Credit Card with an escrip merchant you will earn $$ for OLPH. You can also see a list of the merchants at the same web site. Additionally, purchase $100 Safeway scrip cards from us to increase your profits.
TARGET TAKE CHARGE OF EDUCATION
Apply for a Target Visa or Target Guest Card and designate OLPH Scottsdale as the beneficiary. Although this program cannot be tracked for purposes of tuition credit, we encourage you to participate as it means additional funds for OLPH School. Target will give 1% of your purchases whenever you use the card at a Target store or at Target.com to OLPH. They will give one-half percent of Target Visa purchases everywhere else you use your Target Visa. Target distributes money to the school in March and September.
If you or a family member or friend have a Target Visa, go to Target.com to register your card with OLPH Scottsdale School. The Target School ID is 2504.
